Shell (Layer 1)
Shells are non-living protective outer casings formed on the body typically made from keratin, bone/exoskeleton, or most commonly, calcium.
Shells are able to take any shape or form as long as it remains visible and stays located on the backside of the Tatsukoi!
A Tatsukoi may enter their shell if said shell is large enough for them to reasonably tuck their body inside.
These shells may also be purely decorative!
This trait can be paired with other traits!
Horns (Layer 1)
Pieces of bone or keratin strictly attached to a Tatsukoi's head.
These can be found anywhere on top of the head and can be any shape and size as long and it is completely solid and impervious to movement and is able to mimic horns from any preexisting species.
Tatsukoi can have no more than 20 horns upon the head.
This trait can be paired with other traits!
Iridescence (Layer 1)
This refers to any shiny material that sits on top of the skin or is flush to the body, be it markings, scales, or horns.
This shine can be any mix of colors or present itself in many ways, as an example it may be akin to slime or metal.
