Lyran hills

Resting in the rolling emerald fields of Elysium, the Lyran hills settlement is comprised of beautiful crystals near entirely. The roads, tree roots, and building bases are all made up of rainbow crystals. The aesthetic around here can be imagined similar to ancient Greek architecture. This town was originally founded around 8 crystalline pillars that "sing" in different octaves with the sun and the wind depending on the differentiating sizes of their cracks, holes, and indents.
Famous musicians actually learned from these crystals and went on to woah the world of tatsukois with their brilliant compositions. These musical hills are what bring many tatsukois here, eager to learn the auditory arts, thus leading to the foundation of the Cascading Cadence University of Auditory Arts (CCUAA). This college is one of, if not THE, finest musical institutes in all the falls, some even claim the tatsukoi race did not know rhythmic sound until the 8 pillars were discovered at the peak of the cascades. People freely play music on the street here, lost in a rhythmatic trance, not seeking fame or fortune, but simply to let their emotions and self being flow like the wind into the very soul of the world spire.
There is actually a fascinating phenomenon that happens here in the Lyran hills: Once a year, when the sun is at its peak, music is played at the base of the 8 crystalline pillars by the finest of musicians. The sound waves of the instruments, along with the direct overhead sunlight, makes the 8 crystal pillars vibrate, and glow brightly. None know why, but this event causes the surrounding landscape to radiate rainbow light and allow the city gardens to flourish. All of this has lead the event to become an annual festival of sorts. This festival is not as gaudy as other places may have. No, this festival is pristine, bright, and high-end, similar to that of a noble's or even a royal's garden party. Everyone dresses up fancy like and every hors d'oeuvre is meticulously crafted by some of the finest chefs. This event has even had the gracious honor of having the royals from all royal families of the falls attend at least once every 2-3 years. This musical majesty has been widley renown as one of Elysium's greatest wonders. Enough so that there is a particular group of elite gaurds who's job it is solely to make sure the skies are clear on the day of the festival.
Many nobles and lower-royals live in the Lyran hills, even some higher-royals have homes here that they visit every once in a while. Some come here to vacation, just to hear the symphony of tatsu-kind and nature sway in a beautiful dance. It is very unlikely you'll see younger tatsukois here, as many are seen as immature and reckless, thus risking a disharmony to the fragile balance of this region's ecosystem. Some of the music here can be heard on the 5th, sometimes even the 4th, layer of the falls on particularly windy days.
This city may be used for world/lore building if deemed necessary or desired.
