The Burrows
----------------------------------

In the harsh arctic plains of layer 5, there is a small settlement known as The Burrows. This village consists of multiple underground tunnels, honeycombing underneath a few dozen rolling hills. The first burrow was made by a few tatsukois who ventured here as a group, and in an act of desperation, needing shelter from the storms, they dug as deep within the ground as they could with the materials they had on hand.
This underground checkpoint was later found by more tatsukois, of a bigger party band. With the need for space, they dug it deeper and made more rooms, and more tunnels. This checkpoint was marked by thst party on a map, and as it became shelter to those seeking it from the storms, some decided to make it their home and build an outpost where they could help keep this checkpoint tidy, stocked, and ready for any new adventures who may need it. Years past, more and more tatsukois stayed in the burrows, and with enough people, and enough time, those tunnels eventually became the well known village that many go to visit for a vacation.
The Burrows, to the surprise of many, are actually well known for their Troph Carrots (including Troph Carrot based goods). As more tunnels were made, the discovery of a concave was announced, and in it was fertile soil that grew Carrot-like vegetables that were perfectly edible, sweeter then a normal carrot, and grew near-solely off of the Bioluminesent moss that grew on the ceiling of the cave. Troph Carrots were later cultivated and now grow ALL across The Burrows. Many homes here actually have their own gardens of Troph Carrots, this leading there to be an Autumnal Troph Carrot competition festival! The biggest and most delectable Troph Carrots are grown by competive farmers in The Burrows, and put head to head with one another. The Blue ribbon Troph Carrot gets the honor of being handed to the royal families of Elysium, and the farmer responsible gets a free renewal of Troph Carrot seed stock, a heafty bag of coin, and gets to be featured as one of the next year's Troph Carrot competition judges!
The architecture of Burrows can be imagined as a combination of American old western and The Shire from the book/movie series lord of the rings/the hobbit. The tunnels are lit by strings of magic powered crystals and candles. Their water sources are 3 underground rivers and a well fountain that was forged out of the dirt and stone in the main plaza, the biggest open pocket in The Burrows.
