These small bat-like mammals can be found on Layer 2 gliding amongst the spines or on Layer 4 in the caves. The Layer 4 variant is darker in color to blend in and has some bioluminescent aspects. The patterns on their wings can shift or emit light momentarily to confuse predators or tatsukoi who startle them, causing disorientation. They are herbivorous and prefer to eat glow grapes or other fruits.
