[WB-CITY] Loudile
"One must find their strengths in the arms of the journey
Never lose your own pace, keep your steps ever running
If the night leads you astray, charm the moon with your smile
When the answers seem lost, may your mind win the trial
When the weights hold you down, persevere and push on
May your name be sung, in the memories of the unknown."

History
Situated further Northeast of Sanctuary and south of the Falling Spines, Loudile is one of the largest towns of the Deep Basin. It began as a small village of adventurers who wished to prepare young tatsukoi for their journey through the Cascades, and it carries on its reputation for pioneering many kinds of expeditions and ventures alike.
Records of names have been lost to history, but it is known by mentions within the journals of tatsukoi of yore that a small group had created an outpost there to "be young and inconsequent", and that young adults and teenagers alike would visit the local to "get into trouble". What historians understand nowadays is that more likely a ragtag group of adventurers had once set camp in the local woods, and likewise, other curious young tatsukoi from different regions came by to investigate and learn their survival, practical, and combat skills while socializing. It is speculated that the area grew in popularity, and with it, the camp would turn into an outpost, and then into a proper village.
This boon would set the Adventurer's Guild to be formally established, as well as open the foundation of a small school that would eventually become the "Lunoir Academy".
Loudile's reputation would eventually attract and develop pioneers and pathfinders alike, unsurprisingly generating many discoveries and developments that pushed Tatsukoi society forward. Still, it remains fairly traditional and even rustic to this day, preferring to preserve its rich history while embracing and adapting new technologies without losing its principles.
Nowadays, Loudile is home to many important learning institutions and syndicates, as well as a variety of cultural attractions. It can be quite a bustling city, welcoming young and older generations alike.

INFRASTRUCTURE
- Loudile is overseen by a council of retired senior adventurers.
- The architecture relies more often on stone, bricks, and decorative tiles, and although not always colorful by itself, the local flora decorates many buildings freely as part of its urban ordinances. You will often see large windows, balconies, and elaborate frames as part of the decorative signature views of the city.
- Most homes are well equipped for a modern tatsukoi's basic needs, but some may need adaptations or restorations. It comes down to the owner's preferences, but the city offers certain incentives for tatsukoi who wish to come live and restore antique buildings.
- The cobblestone streets are large and accommodate enough space for carriages and wagons alike; these being the main methods of travel within the city aside from mount riding.
- It is guarded by its famous Loudile Mounted Police who utilize steigeins in their patrols.
- Loudile is well known for its many educational institutions, including:
- The Lunoir Academy - An adventuring school that teaches basic survival and combat skills of all kinds. It is very common for younger tatsukoi to come to Lunoir to learn practical skills and pathfinding before their first climb to the Cascades. The Academy offers courses of many varieties that cover gathering, camping, swimming, climbing, riding, zoology, geography, and economics classes, as well as specific electives of all kinds. The goal is to prepare these young tatsukoi to face the world and learn how to properly approach challenges and socialize within other layers, while offering a head start to their future studies or careers of choice. However, Lunoir equally opens its doors for tatsukoi of all ages, offering classes for adults and seniors as well.
- The Loudile Riding Academy - While partnered with Lunoir for its riding classes, one does not need to be part of the adventuring school to enroll in the L.R.A. The Riding Academy offers many sorts of courses for tatsukoi who would like to professionally, or casually, work with rideable creatures, including but not limited to hunting, adventuring, competitive riding, mercantile riding, patrol riding, as well as teaching its students about the many kinds of creatures one may choose to own and ride, as well as their needs and basic care.
The academy also offers a program for students who wish to own their first mount, pairing them with a creature of matching personality in exchange for voluntary work on the stables and around the school property. - Deep Basin Natural Museum - The Deep Basin Natural Museum is one of the oldest museums of the Cascades, and has expanded its facilities over the years to accomodate exhibitions of all kinds. From fossils to whole mounted creatures, as well as for numerous interactive exhibits on tatsukoi biology and behavior, the museum has an extensive and ever growing archive of studies about all sorts of living beings and landscapes of the Cascades, offering informative tours, and rewarding new findings to adventurers who collectors who share their discoveries. I has partnership programs with other museums across the Cascades as well as educational institutions, offering internships from time to time.
- The Great Memorial Library - As much as it boasts a great collection of books of all kinds, the Great Memorial Library gains its name from specializing in archiving antique journals and historical records left behind by Tatsukoi of yore. Located right across the Natural Museum, the Memorial Library contains a special section just for the storage and restoration of these old records, using many sophisticated magical methods developed by Cyrus himself to preserve the materials perfectly intact. It opens its doors to the public every day, but special permissions are necessary to visit the Memoir Archive.
