[WB-CITY] Archieom, the city in layer 4

Within the cascades and Tunnels of layer 4, there's not a lot of room for a big city. however, the tatsukoi who have decided to settle within this layer make it work. In order to make a big enough space for housing,  the residents of Archioem have dug out quite a bit of the tunnels originally around one of the many outposts, in order to make a bigger opening, for a small and compact city. at first it was just a handful of huts, set up as a temporary place to sit and socialize, but it eventually grew to more than that. with the amount of isolation in layer 4, it's easy to lose yourself, which is the reason why some decided to stay behind and expand the lounging area to become a small town. eventually it gained temporary residents, who performed maintenance and created a safe and calm place for traveling or lost tatsukois to rest, or stay!

 

This is one of the only few "cities" within layer 4. while busy in numbers, it is most known for being quite silent compared to other cities, yet extremely bright. this is in order to be easy to spot from a distance. the residents are usually excited to meet new people, but very soft spoken in order not to overwhelm newcomers with a sudden abbundance of noise : being in the tunnels in silence for so long can make one's ears sensitive! 

in order not to have to dig more of the tunnels out, the residents have resorted to building houses on the sides of the walls as well as the cieling, hanging from strong spell-casted chains in order to prevent them from ever breaking and falling down onto unsuspecting bystanders. this keeps the city quite small, but still very full of life. creativity flows within Archieom's community

 

Alongside the social locals, a lot of them help lost tatsus or ones simply trying to find a way out of the labyrinth. others make rescue parties for potentially missing or lost tatsukoi, or even ones that have lost their humanity within the spiraling tunnels. many therapy groups are created in order to help get some tatsus back on their feet before they go back into the labyrinthe. some are too scared to go back out for a while and stay there for quite some time. some even decide to stay and help give back to the community.

 

despite it's lack of size, it's resident's hospitality makes up for it. there market is usually bussling with different foods and different types of quirky merchants! coming from all over, it can't really get very boring, everyone has at least SOMETHING interesting to say, and a bunch of stories to tell. while not being able to see the sky, some tatsus have gotten creative and painted murals on the walls and cieling. everyone is allowed to participate and add something to the murals, as long as they don't paint over anyone else's contribution! this has made the murals exceptionally beautiful and a lot of tatsukoi leave the labyrinthe with pictures of said murals. 

"how does one farm underground?" well, despite there barely being any kind of sun, the soil made from the walls interior is rich in minerals, which the magic users of Archieom use to make the crops better and speed up the growth process, that the greens would normally get from sunlight. therefor, magic users using plant magic, as well as skilled farmers are VERY appriciated within the community, especially when they are the glue keeping everyone together and fed! many of these soil patches can be seen being tended to and because of the rich minerals, the plants tend to have this extra beautiful sheen to them. sadly this does not make them magically taste better, but it doesn't seem to have any negative effects either! it does boost iron levels!
